Greetings. This is where I fangirl over a lot of stuff. I watch quite frankly disturbing amount of tv shows and movies and I'm way too much emotionally invested in many of them. You'll be seeing here mostly Community, because my love for this flawless creation of Dan Harmon knows no bounds and I will worship it for the rest of my life. Joel McHale is my ultimate number one life ruiner. Also: Julian Casablancas, Arthur Darvill, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Hamm, Seth Meyers, Bill Hader, Kit Harington or Ryan Gosling (...duh). I have a chronic bitch face and ginger hair, love making lists, read books, listen to music and talk really fast. I post a lot. Mildly frustrated, slightly amusing. I hope the rest of your day is cool beans. 18, Czech Republic. #sixseasonsandweloveyoudanharmon
"I have no doubt we’ll do our best to maintain the integrity of the characters and tell the story the way it was meant to be told. The thing I’ll miss is that-and maybe this is highbrow- if you’re a good sax player, and you’re making a good living in the New York clubs in the 1950’s and you start jamming with Charlie Parker you’re like “oh…I cannot do that. I almost don’t wanna play sax anymore.” There are similarities because Dan Harmon is similarly tortured and similarly self destructive. But the things that came out of his head were just things that you don’t do on a TV show. That was the amazing thing about it. That era ended. Fans of Dan Harmon and that insanely amazing brain…you’ll get more of that. He’s not going away. There will be plenty of content for you. The magical Dan Harmon era of Community-that ended, but there’s a new version of Community and it may be very good. It’s not gonna be seen by many people and the people that want it to be Dan’s Community may be disappointed but it may be great. It may be as good as parks and rec but the fans won’t care. They’ll say “this sucks."
This what I am saying, fandom. Everyone watch season 4, and if you don’t, then you miss out. And it doesn’t bring Dan back. It proves to NBC that they were always right about this show they hate so much. It proves to Sony that they’re just dragging us around like deadweight - like they did to syndicate ‘Til Death. Not because the show is of any value. Show them this show is valuable to its fans.
"One of the things Ford Prefect had always found hardest to understand about humans was their habit of continually stating and repeating the very very obvious, as in It’s a nice day, or You’re very tall, or Oh dear you seem to have fallen down a thirty-foot well, are you alright? At first Ford had formed a theory to account for this strange behaviour. If human beings don’t keep exercising their lips, he thought, their mouths probably seize up. After a few months’ consideration and observation he abandoned this theory in favour of a new one. If they don’t keep on exercising their lips, he thought, their brains start working. After a while he abandoned this one as well as being obstructively cynical."
